A wrong detail on a tour card: a duration, a neighborhood, a cancellation term. Small slips happen, and a one-line note is all it takes for the card to get fixed.
What we can act on:
- A from-price that has moved. The cards carry what the live listing showed when the card went up, and operators change rates with season, demand or a short promotion. The downtown taco walk listed from $59 may sit higher once December arrives. When a card and the booking page disagree, trust the page, then send us a note so the card gets corrected.
- A question this site does not answer. Which tour suits a vegetarian, whether a mezcal tasting works for a first-timer, what to book for one short evening in town.
- A listing that no longer exists. Operators pull routes from sale now and then, and a card pointing at a dead page is worse than no card at all.
- Your email reaches a person at info@puertovallartafoodtours.org, and the answer comes from whoever knows the subject. Quick things, such as which seafood walk runs on a Sunday, usually get a short reply the same day. Trickier things, such as whether Chef Manu's cooking class can handle a vegetarian group, might take longer because we ask the operator first. If an answer would actually change which tour you pick, we write back.
- Anything the FAQ and the guides leave open.

Our Replies
This site compares tours; it does not run them. Nobody on our side walks guests through 5 de Diciembre, mixes agave cocktails or runs a market visit, so we cannot move your booking to another date, add a person to your group or handle your money. The operator named on the tour card is the one to contact about all of that. Where we add value is in the choosing: which listing fits your plans, how two similar taco tours differ, and fixing anything inaccurate you spot on these pages.
The Limits
Money questions go through the operator, not through us. All eleven tours here advertise free cancellation, yet each one has its own cutoff time, and the live booking page is where that line is drawn. Miss it and the refund may be partial rather than full. When a payment goes astray, the operator and the booking platform behind the listing are the only ones who can trace it. What we can do is tell you which company runs the tour you booked.
Bookings are made on the live listing, so the operator receives your order directly and sends the confirmation with everything practical: where to meet, when to show up, your booking reference and a phone line for the day. From that point on, running late, telling someone about a shellfish allergy or locating your guide at Basilio Badillo are matters for the operator. Our job ends at the comparison. Their job is the evening itself.
We have not personally joined every tour listed here. The comparisons rest on what the listings publish, what the operators state about their own tours and the review history attached to each one. That is plenty for saying that the Downtown tour runs three and a half hours while the Old Town walk is three, or that one cooking class is private and another serves unlimited margaritas. For how a tour actually feels on the night, the reviews from paying guests tell it better than we can.
We cannot promise a tour starts on time, that a guide shows up, or that a kitchen handles an allergy safely. Those responsibilities sit with the operator. What we stand behind is what the listing said when the card went up, and we correct the card when the listing moves on.
